Description: | Dr and award winning science journalist Michael Mosley has generously offered to give a talk on the many potential health benefits of paying attention to your gut. His wife Dr Claire Bailey, who has published books on the subject, will also be available to answer questions.
"Your gut is astonishingly clever. It contains millions of neurons - as many as you would find in the head of a cat. It is also home to the microbiome, trillions of microbes that influence our mood, weight and immune system." – Michael Mosley
The talk will take place at St Mary’s and All Saints Prinary school, Maxwell Rd, on Weds 21st February at 7.30pm until 8.30pm, plus a questions and answers session for 15 mins afterwards.
Places are £10 each, funds will go to the PTA, to be spent on additional school activities and facilities.
