Following on from our successful summer Litter Pick in July where so many of you volunteered to give our town some much needed TLC, we are holding another Litter Pick event on Saturday 6th November between 10am - 1pm.
Please come and join us at the Town Hall Green any time between 10am-1pm and we'll assign you a patch to cover. All are welcome, even if you can only spare half an hour.
If you are able to attend, it would help us to plan areas to be covered and the provision of equipment if you could reply to us at thebecsoc@gmail.com and let us know which of the following time slots you would like to join us:
1 10am – 11am
2 11am – 12pm
3 12pm – 1pm
We will be sending out some Health and Safety guidelines closer to the event, but below are a few points we wanted to bring to your attention:
- If possible, please bring along your own gardening gloves.
- Please dress suitably for the weather, and in particular wear sensible / sturdy footwear whatever the weather.
- If you have your own litter picker then please bring that too, but we will provide litter pickers, bag hoops, hi-vis vests and bags for all that need them
- Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, we are unable to provide drinks or snacks, so please bring a bottle of water with you
- Anyone under 18 or a vulnerable adult will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times
